Back in September 2016, when the 50 metre range of Prime Megayacht Platform concept yachts was revealed at the Monaco Yacht Show it was widely hailed as the future of semi-custom.

Now, the new company has revealed further details about the first model in the range, Project Next.

The company is working with a wide range of design studios, from Luiz De Basto to Reymond Langton, but Project Next was created by Azure Naval Architects.

Designer Bob van den Meiracker claims that this design allows owners to enjoy all of the luxuries and creature comforts that you might expect on a 70 metre yacht, but in a 50 metre package.

As these new renderings show, Project Next would feature a dramatic main-deck skylounge with floor to ceiling windows boasting impressive views out to sea.

What’s more, the design has been created to be fully accessible with a central superyacht elevator serving all decks and no steps to get in the way.

Other key features include a foredeck swimming pool and an aft superyacht beach club, complete with sauna, steam room, spa area, gym and a five-person flush-mounted spa pool. An all-glass stern door means that plenty of natural light can flood into this key area of the yacht, even while underway.

The company adds that Project Next will feature “resort yacht experience philosophy” with flexible furniture arrangements providing guests with a wide range of options for relaxing on board.

Prime Megayacht Platform has build partners on both sides of the Atlantic in the form of Burger Boat and Jachtwerf Bloemsma. Now all that is needed is the right client to turn this exciting project into reality.
